Wenjia (she/her/hers) is a compassionate therapist who has a background in social work. She works as a Therapist at the Alfred Child and Youth Mental Health Service (Child Psychiatry), alongside private practice. She has worked in the Magistrate’s Court, Sexual Assault Service, Monash University, and NGOs in the past as a Clinician. She use a range of specialist approaches, such as CBT, ACT, trauma focused cognitive therapy, psycho-sensory therapy, neuroscience, and attachment based.
She is specialized to support individuals who struggle with low self-esteem, perfectionism and trauma. Her aim is to help you develop a positive view of yourself and thrive in a more fulfilling life. She’s also passionate about supporting migrants/international students who experience difficulty adjusting to life in Australia and/or struggle with racism/micro aggression.
She provides a safe and non-judgmental environment in which real healing can occur, and she has been known for making people feel at ease from the initial consultation.
