A structured evaluation of learning potential, cognitive strengths, and areas of difficulty, conducted by an AHPRA-registered psychologist in Mandarin or English. Suitable for children, adolescents, and adults seeking clarity around ADHD, Autism, giftedness, or learning challenges.

What’s assessed in a Cognitive Assessment?

The Cognitive Assessment is conducted and signed by an AHPRA-registered psychologist in Mandarin or English. Reports are recognised across educational, medical, and workplace contexts, and can support applications for accommodations, funding, or further specialist care.

How to take a Cognitive Assessment?

1: Complete the inquiry form below.

2: Our client support team will contact you to book an intake session with a psychologist.

3: During the intake session, the psychologist will gather background information and design an assessment plan tailored to your goals.

4: Attend the cognitive assessment sessions, where standardised tests will be administered.

5: The psychologist will score and analyse the results, then prepare a detailed written report with insights and recommendations.

6: Around 2–3 weeks later, you will attend a feedback session (up to 30 minutes) where the psychologist will explain the results, strategies, and next steps.

7: The assessment can be administered in Mandarin Chinese or English.

Sara provides comprehensive assessments and therapy with a focus on evidence-based practice. She supports clients in gaining clarity around ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and cognitive functioning, with a warm and client-centred approach.

Sara Chen specialises in the following topics: depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, stress management, self-confidence and self-esteem, social anxiety, interpersonal relationships, trauma and PTSD, addictions and dependencies, identity, psychology of international students (including social support, cultural adaptation and career development), loneliness, perfectionism and self-efficacy, as well as sleep disorders, eating disorders and body image Issues.

She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy in her counselling, and combines it with play therapy and mindfulness techniques. Ben is a registered psychologist and a Clinical Psychology Registrar doing his eighth year training to be a clinical psychologist. He has been providing welfare and psychological services in public and private hospitals, school, and community settings. Ben worked with people with severe physical health challenges and complex mental health challenges; he also worked with students with academic difficulties. 

He is committed to inclusion and is neuroaffirming, working with people to discover their strengths, show self-compassion, and build great lives.
