Isabella’s journey with psychology started from 14 years ago, she earned a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science in Australia and completed her Master of Science in Counseling, specialized in Mental Health Counseling from the United States. She is a licensed Counseling Psychologist in Taiwan and a clinical psychotherapist registered in Australia. Over the past 10 years, she has accumulated with excessive clinical experience and training to work with individuals coming from diverse cultural and ethnical backgrounds to cope with a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, general anxiety disorder, complex trauma, life transitions and cultural adjustment, as well as issues in couples’ relationship leading to certain extent of mental distress. 

She has also very experienced to work with couples to deal with issues in the relationship causing conflict and a great extent of emotional and mental distress in close relationships. She is particularly trained with the skill to work with intercultural or cross-racial couples to help them understand their differences as individuals and to work together to reduce the tension and distress in the relationship. Her ultimate goal for couples is to empower them to reach what they truly long for and desire in the intimate relationship through not just helping the couple to work on the problems in the relationships, but also helping them to understand themselves and their attachment needs better individually. Then assisting them to articulate and communicate to their partners in a way that repairs the past wounds and reestablishes positive and nurturing bonding experiences that increase a sense of safety and security and closeness with each other. Besides, she is very experienced at working with same sex couples.

As a bilingual therapist, she has years of experience providing individual and couples therapy to bilingual, Mandarin and English, speaking clients. Therefore, she has excessive experience to work with individuals and couples from multi cultural backgrounds including the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, France, Spain, Honduras, etc. She is very passionate to work with clients with rich cultural experiences and strengthen them to go through those personal challenges in life. 

She believes that human beings are not wired to survive alone. Although we need to be independent, we are, most of the time, interdependent indeed. When the storms of life strike you unexpectedly and seem to overpower you, she invites you to take a leap of faith and let her explore with you and assist you in this journey, in a caring and nonjudgmental way and in a safe environment, so that you can be empowered to reach a fulfilling and purposeful life.
