Connie (she/her/hers) is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with clinical experience working across a diverse range of settings, including acquired brain injury, geriatrics, neurology, mental health, and paediatrics across inpatient and community settings. She has experience working with clients across the life span presenting with a myriad of difficulties, including mental health disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities, neurodegenerative disorders, neurological disorders, behavioural difficulties, and trauma. 

 

Connie's high level of independent clinical skills is indicated by her ability to adapt testing battery and assessment to effectively address diverse referral questions (e.g., diagnostic assessment, decision-making capacity, NDIS eligibility, applications to VCAT for administration and guardianship). She also frequently provides reports and expert opinions to various government services and departments, community organisations, law firms and the Victorian Court system.

Beyond the clinical setting, Connie's outstanding research performance is evident in her ongoing first-author publications in well-recognised peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international academic conferences.

Provision of Neuropsychological Assessments

  • Diagnostic assessment (e.g., multiple sclerosis, neurocytoma, epilepsy, ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, learning disability, intellectual disability, MCI, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, behavioural variant FTD)

  • Decision-making and capacity assessments (e.g., return to work/driving, financial management, lifestyle decisions, medical management, testamentary capacity, parenting capacity, consent to sex, the need for a litigation guardian)

  • Individually tailored cognitive interventions targeted at daily functioning improvement

  • Assessment following an acquired brain injury (e.g., motor vehicle accident, fall, stroke)

  • Academic and learning disability assessments

  • Medico-legal assessments

  • Home-based and in-prison cognitive assessments​.
